WHY TO BLAME RAIN???

WHY TO BLAME RAIN???

Monsoon in Mumbai has started, though a l'll late than expected. This season is so very refreshing....its a relief after a scorching summer. Wait, but why am I writing what EVERYONE out there knows??!!!....Ting!!

The point is.....MONSOON has arrived in MUMBAI. So there will be regular 'khich-khich' on the roads......"Mumbai's Roads"!!

After I came home today, there was this 'news' on some channels, that rains have clogged the streets and filled up the drains and flooded up people's homes....blah blah.......C'mon...woh baarish hai, barsegi. Its because of your global warming that the climatic balance is disturbed. You do nothing but 'blame' the rain and say, rather yell,"Barsaat ne mujhe barbaad kar diya!". Then some say,"Cheee!! baarish mein kitna kichad hota hai!"....that too, after playing a game of football in the rain, or rain dancing with friends...??? And when someone says,"Eewww! these rains are disgusting!", I am literally  like, "Get off from here!!"

Some 'thinkers' or 'experts' come together on a news channel and have a discussion on the loss due to rain and what can the government and authorities do about it.............I say, what can they do about it???

Okay! They can....should build proper roads, and take care that the drains are covered and of course should do a lot more. But even you need to add in your efforts too people! You did not plant a tree on the World Environment day, nor did you water any plant or tree...........exactly, time kiske paas hai!? Is it that difficult a task that the PM of our country needs to come, plan, encourage the people to come and plant a sapling? Where will the water go if there are no trees to absorb it? I mean its a simple logic.

Look at them......For this, some schools in Mumbai declare holidays for 2-3 days! Isn't it silllly!!! Fine with the issue that small kids may have too much of fun and be lost, or get an infection...but take steps to prevent that, why to cancel the school! Huh! Are we, the children, so delicate? Moreover, are we to carry on like this for the forthcoming months of heavy rain??

Take care you don't do this or say this, and take care of your health and enjoy the monsoon!!!
