             WOMEN EMPOWERMENT
                             -EVA DANIELS

The subject of empowerment of women has becoming a burning issue all over the world including India since last few decades. It is held that women now cannot be asked to wait for any more for equality .Inequalities between men and women and discrimination against women have also been age-old issues all over the world. Thus, women’s quest for equality with man is a universal phenomenon. What exists for men is demanded by women as well.
They have demanded equality with men in matters of education, employment, inheritance, marriage, politics and recently in the field of religion. Women want to have for themselves the same strategies of change which men have had over the centuries such as equal pay for equal work. Their quest for equality has given birth to the formation of many women’s associations and launching of movements.
The position and status of women all over the world has risen incredibly. We find that it has been very low earlier in India and elsewhere when they were treated like ‘objects’ that can be bought and sold. For a long time women in India remained within the four walls of their household. They were totally dependent on men.
A long struggle has brought women the property rights, voting rights, an equality in civil rights before the law in matters of marriage and employment (in India women had not to struggle for voting rights)

HENCE, in spite of such drawbacks and hurdles that still prevail, Indian women are no longer hesitant or apologetic about claiming a share and visibility within the family, at work, in public places, and in the public discourse.

Book Review: Send me a sign.

Book Review

Name of the book: Send me a sign.

Name of author: Tiffany Schmidt.

Pages: 384

Target audience: Young adults.

Genre: Contemporary, realistic fiction, romance.

Summary: The story follows a 17 year old superstitious girl, Mia who after being diagnosed with Leukemia decides to keep her illness a secret from all her friends except her best friend/ neighbor, Gyver.

Review: Mia is a beautiful, smart and popular high school girl who comes from a rich family. All her life she has looked for signs. A sign that she will get good grades and make it into an Ivy-league school, a sign that she should get serious with her boyfriend and so on. And now she has to start looking for a sign to tell her if she can survive cancer.

Mia was a strong lead who had her own beliefs and theories. She decided not to show any fear and be tough throughout the treatment for her parent’s sake. The way she always looked for small signs was completely relatable. I mean, many of us do that too. Even though she was naïve sometimes and made bad decisions along the way (for which I really felt like strangling her), she became a character that I understood and rooted for.

Another character that I liked was McGyver. He stood with his best friend when she desperately needed someone. He supported her throughout her illness and cared for her. He was a really sweet and pleasant character. His mother was a nice character too. She truly understood Mia and treated her like her own daughter.

Mia’s father was an understanding person. He wanted to learn everything about his daughter’s sickness. Her mother, on the other hand was different case. She liked to pretend as if Mia was not suffering from life threatening disease. She was the reason Mia didn’t share the news of her illness with her friends. Her mother thought it would be better for her ‘privacy’. She was one of the annoying characters.

The story had funny and lighthearted moments that made me laugh, as well as heart wrenching ones which made me want to sob like a baby. The way all the characters evolved throughout the book, especially Mia, was wonderful. The author did a beautiful job, creating a multilayered story with flawed characters that I understood and started caring for. Seeing the world through Mia’s eyes was an amazing experience.

Side Effects Of Having An Embarrassing Pet Name

Shakespeare had said, "What's in a name?" You have the painful answer to that!

That "Cute, weird  and Silly nickname names kept by our parents and other relatives have put us into a roller-coaster ride called embarrassment !! The very mention of the name in public brings an evil glimmer in the eyes of the listener and  awkwardness with in ourselves !! Yes, i have experienced it many times and its no less then a leg pulling spell !

If you have been trolled  with a silly nickname, you'll be familiar with these hardships:

1. You NEVER mention your nickname to anyone. But there's always that one  Chaddi Buddy  who lets the cat out of the bag.  All we can say to them is to keep it under your hat!

2. Once your friends find out about that "unusually Cute nickname" All that we can hope it sweeps under the rug ! and thats not going to happen we all know.

3.There's that one trick: Ignore the jokes and people will stop. You've tried it and it doesn't work. Instead you get used to it.

4.And here's another trick that doesn't work: Justifying it. Nobody cares what it means; why you were named so or how it's 'cute' and not 'funny.'

5. When you find somebody else with an extremely funny nickname, there sigh of relief   "foof! am not alone !"

6. When you invite your friends home, you give your siblings and parents strict instructions not to call you by "The  Embarrassing  Name"

You'll never admit it, but you do find your nickname Cute!!

 Don't you now?

Movie Review : Interstellar

Most film-makers think small or medium. Not Christopher Nolan, for whom even big or bigger won’t cut it. His new picture is his biggest: biggest event and biggest spectacle. In the age of shopping-centre cinema, Christopher Nolan builds cathedrals. His films are cold, enormous, sky-puncturing constructions, echoey with triumphant gloom, rippling with the gasps and whispers of the faithful.
Writer-director Christopher Nolan shoots for the stars with a futuristic thriller, co-written with his brother Jonathan, about mankind's search beyond this galaxy for a new home to replace a dying planet earth.Epic in scope and wildly ambitious, Interstellar doesn't quite achieve its bold vision of a love story between a father and daughter set against the vast backdrop of mankind's final roll of the dice to avoid extinction. However, even when this grand futuristic adventure malfunctions, it's a deeply engrossing meditation on the ties that bind and the endurance of those emotional bonds across space and time.
The special effects are top notch but still leave much to be desired of when compared to last years Gravity. Matthew McConaughey Anne Hathaway are in top form. McConaughey may get an Oscar nomination for his role. Other actors like Matt Damon have also excelled in supporting roles. Even the girl who plays Cooper's ( McConaughey ) daughter has acted really, sadly I don't remember her name. The movie could have been about 10 to 15 minutes shorter as there is much of father - daughter bonding in this film.
All in all Interstellar is well acted well directed , the story could have been a little more engaging and some scenes could have been edited. I would say that Interstellar is a good time if you are looking for a good film to watch this weekend or else you can waste your money on HNY.
3.5 Stars ( worth a watch ) from my side.

“Imagine there's no countries

It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace
You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one”

From today I refuse to be tagged to a religion or country. I'll be
just a fellow human being. No more a Hindu. No more an Indian.
Concept of country as well as religion have outlived their purpose.
Let's be one human race.

                                 Brain Drain...!!!

The migration of scientists, doctors, engineers and other technically qualified persons usually from a developing or underdeveloped country to an advanced or developed country is termed “brain drain”. It is a very serious problem for poor and underdeveloped countries, including India. Thousands of Indian scientists, doctors, engineers and other qualified persons have migrated to and are staying in other countries. Every year hundreds of our best brains make frantic efforts to leave India. The demand for passports is increasing every year, even though more and more employment opportunities are being created within the country. The steady out flow of our nation’s talent, especially those educated, at the cost of the tax payers’ money, has caused concern to the government.

Reasons-

So far as the reasons of brain-drain are concerned, one of the main reasons is the widespread unemployment and underemployment in our country. There are many scientists, doctors and engineers in our country who are unemployed. They have devoted several years of their lives to their education and have spent huge amounts of money on it- When after the completion of their courses of study and training, they find that there are no employment opportunities for them; they are overpowered by acute frustration. It is this state of affairs that forces them to go abroad.
The second major reason of this one way traffic of talent is lack of research facilities in India. Many of our best students go abroad for higher degrees or for research work, While studying for their degrees or doing research work abroad, they take up some part-time job in the field of their study or research  in order to earn some money that they need there. They have completed their studies they do not want to return». The reasons are obvious. The serious unemployment in India frightens them and they prefer to remain abroad. Idly, the better conditions of job and higher standard of living countries lure them to decide to stay on there. There are of some of such persons who when they returned to India Obtaining higher degrees or completing their research work, (Unable to get jobs befitting their qualifications and skill. They^ naturally frustrated when they found that they could neither ‘ to live a decent life with the salary that the job fetched them, II their specific skill being utilized in the best possible manner, ‘nitration forced them to leave India again. It is not as though our government is not concerned about this national problem or has not done anything in this connection. But the efforts made so far to prevent the drain of national talent have yielded little result. It is a serious problem. It has attracted even the attention of the U.N.O. The U.N. Secretary General has described the brain-drain as a valuable gift from developing countries to advanced countries and also suggested that developing nations should be adequately compensated for such drain of their talents. For quicker advancement and progress of India, it is very necessary that our scientists and skilled workers are offered the best opportunities within the
country. We cannot, otherwise, hope to stop this colossal national loss. In the context of India the problem of brain-drain has two broad aspects—means to check the outflow of our scientists from  the country, by generating employment opportunities for them within the country, and steps to facilitate the return of our  scientists from abroad.

A Change In Thought

Diwali is the one festival in India which is celebrated by all irrespective of caste, creed and religion. It is celebrated to acknowledge the victory of good over evil. But with the changing time the style of celebrating Diwali has also changed drastically.

Now Diwali celebrations mean electric illumination and bursting noisy fire crackers. This change in the celebration style has imposed many negative effects on the environment such as excessive air, soil and noice pollution, excessive power consumption and consumerism (excess consumption means excess use of raw material.

With increase in the awareness about environmental pollution amongst the public, eco-friendly Diwali was quite popular amongst the few who understand the need for environment protection. I personally feel bursting crackers is like burning your money. I along with few friends of mine thought instead of wasting money on crackers it can be used for contributing towards the welfare of the society and other poor people who are unable to celebrate the festival. Also we can have a cracker show for 2 hour or so in a common place where people can enjoy the crackers, instead of each doing at their home in a small way and making the whole city dusty with paper.

Dr. Prakash Baba Amte: The Real Hero

There exists a man whose amazing life should be an example for the world. This movie showcases the life of Dr. Prakash Baba Amte. A man whose contribution to society is immeasurable. A storyline showcasing an individual who was unaware of his destination but became an inspiration to the world by teaching the epitome of self actualization.

After finishing his doctor degree, Prakash's father Baba Amte, took him on a picnic to Hemalkasa, but that was not only a picnic but a turning point in Prakash's life. He became restless seeing that, on one hand people had reached the moon while here still people were living as animals. They use to hunt and sleep under the tree. Prakash went there just to treat them but became a part of them. Dr.Mandakini and Prakash loved each other from collage days. Leaving her luxurious life behind, she decided to accompany Prakash without any condition.

This is where the real story begins in the dense forest of Hemalkasa. There struggle with tribals, struggle with wild animal, struggle with Naxalites and corrupt government officials. But today after 45 years of struggle, Hemalkasa has become an example to the world. The story is unbelievable but..... it is true!

Tees saal baad.

Tees saal baad...

The good old times are back for a while.
Cast of the iconic TV show ‘Hum Log’ had a reunion in Noida to mark the 30th anniversary of their first episode. Here are the actors reminisce about the good old days.
“We were like family.”
Joyshree Arora, who played Bhagwati said, "We use to go for the shoot in the morning and come back around 1 am. We were always together-like a family-and today, we miss that. I was hardly 26-27 and I was playing a 45-year -old woman, so I had to put on lot of make up.
“People call me ‘Lalloo’.”
Mumbai-based actor Rajesh Puri said, "We completed the shoot, two episodes per day, at Himachal Bhawan in Mandi House. I remember the day when Rajesh Khanna invited me for lunch after seeing the popularity of my character ‘Lalloo’, and offered me a role in his film ‘Alag’. People still know me as ‘Lalloo’.
“A hit in South India.”
"The concept of hum log was borrowed from a Mexican serial. It is the first Indian show to be sponsored. It talked about women empowerment and national integration at a time when the government was saying that the South doesn't want Hindi. South Indian viewers then wrote to the government, saying that they watch HUM LOG. That's how the character of South Indian mama, played by Pradeep Kuchreja, was introduced. The serial is also a part of mass communication courses in American colleges.” said Abhinav Chaturvedi, who played ‘Nanhe’.
“People gave Badki gifts for her 'shaadi'.”
About the popularity of the serial, Pradeep said "I remember shooting Badki's (Seema Bhargav) marriage at Meerut's Nauchandi mela. Wherever Seema went, she received gift. The shopkeepers gave her utensils, jewellery, clothes and what not, saying,'Beti teri shaadi ho rahi hai,tu le ja."
“A blind man recognized my voice.”
Sharing his personal experience, Aziz Querishy, who played Inspector Khan in the serial, said, "Once a blind man came up to me and asked, ‘Khan sahib? Aap Khan sahib hai na?' such was the popularity of the serial that he was able to recognize my voice."
Want youngsters to see it, say actors.
The actors said they are trying to get hold of the archive of the show, which is not available with Doordarshan, so that young viewers can see the episodes as well.

Celebrating Diwali 2014

Lets Burst Negativity!

Diwali, the festival of lights is one of the biggest celebration of the year in every Hindu family. With its arrival, it brings in joy, happiness, zeal, enthusiasm and what not? It spreads positive energy and good vibes all around. The stunning beauty and the joy of the festival can thus be a reason for a change! This Diwali let us all try a  little more harder to make ourselves a little more better. Lets burst the little devils which envelope the different spheres of our life. This year, let us all make an effort to spread love and peace around. Let us all try our best to slash down our seven deadly sins: lust, gluttony, pride, greed, wrath, laziness and envy.

All of us lack in some or the other way when it comes to 'being a good human' because lets get that straight, we're humans and we aren't perfect! But yes, all of us can improvise on ourselves in some or the other way! We can train ourselves to reach the level of perfection (again, no one can ever be perfect) We can learn to do good and to spread goodness around. After all, we humans are such good learners! What is good, is a concept undefined, we simply cannot define its charm and beauty with our limited vocabulary. Maybe, some concepts of life are meant to be so. But surely, we can feel this inexplicable happiness of goodness in us, when we actually try to become a good human. And believe me, positive people are such fun people. We must all try to become one.

The motive of my blog post is just to remind everyone of us that this Diwali is a very great opportunity for all of us to broaden our perspective and look at the world with a different view point. Its a time where we can burst down the negativity in us and learn to view things with a positive outlook. At last, its never too late to start with a new and a beautiful beginning but the sooner you learn it, the sooner you can achieve the immeasurable beauty and happiness of life. So yeah, spread spread and spread love, there is enough of hate already. Plus, being good is the coolest style in fashion and magically, this fashion never fades ;)
Happy Diwali!

                           Action speaks Louder than Words..

Nowadays, as the society we live in gets more and more complicated, human interactions seem to have set off to a whole new level. Suddenly, diplomacy has taken the world by storm, thus becoming a must in every successful action of our day-to-day life. Nevertheless, since words may sometimes be misleading, it is our actions that end up betraying our true nature.
In my opinion, speech can be considered to be one of the oldest,  yet the most important art that mankind has ever created. Persuasion is not just a form of transmitting a message, but also a carefully crafted instrument we constantly try to learn how to master. Eventually, words are nothing more than a candle in the wind. On the other hand, our actions ,the ones that truly define who we are, are more,  likely to be those that would endure through the test of time.
Moreover, were we to take the example of the chronicles, it is great deeds that made great rulers part of the universal history and not what they may have said. Of course, there are several notable exceptions, like Winston Churchill or King Louis the Fourteenth of France who is greatly known for having said, "I am the State" . Nevertheless, their quotes are in fact associated with their actions, therefore, in the end, the actions regain their supremacy.
To sum up, I am a firm believer that a good deed is worth more than a thousand nice words. Consequently, there can be no doubt as to whether words can be considered to be more important than actions. Nonetheless, some might state that there are times in our lives when a word may be worth more than anything in the world. I could not disagree with this statement. However, let as take comforting someone for example. Undoubtedly, kind words are to be used, yet the purpose of their usage clearly defines the action of comforting a person in need. All in all, I reckon that one simply cannot deny that actions speak louder than words.

Mankind still alive.

Mankind still alive!
During the World War II a man saved 8000 Jews by faking typhus epidemics.
Eugene Lazowski's generosity under the threat of execution is another reminder that not all human beings are terrible. Like many others, Eugene's actions during the World War II helped save thousands of Jews that would have most certainly been executed in a concentration camp by the Nazi's.
Eugene Lazowski was born and raised in a small town in Poland. When the World War came rolling around, Eugene like many other young men decided to enroll in the army. First, he was a second lieutenant on a Red Cross train, later becoming a medical doctor in the polish resistance.
Eugene Lazowsk, with the help of his friend Dr Stanislaw Mateluwicz, created a fake typhus epidemic that wasn't lethal, but to the Nazi doctors it appeared as if almost the entire population of the city had typhus! As a result, the Nazis quarantined the city and around 8,000 Jewish people avoided going to concentration camp.
Eugene Lazowski passed away in 2006.

EAT OATS; STAY HEALTHY

Academic studies, after college jobs and extracurricular activities can quickly consume a teenagers’ calendar. With busy schedules and multiplying obligations, the recommended healthy food that we must intake is reducing. Add the 60 minutes or more of physical activity to the equation and you might even feel overwhelmed. We are smart enough to appreciate the benefits of a healthy diet, but also are easily tempted by fast and tasty junk food.

Take a deep breath and have a closer look. Being healthy is not just about what you eat, even though that is a big portion. It is about how you treat your body, meaning what you put into it and the type of things you put your body through. Mostly, we think being healthy is an expensive and difficult lifestyle but the reality to this assumption is we are reluctant to make changes in our lives; just mere excuses that hold us back from leading healthy lives.

While our bodies have in many ways changed over the centuries, one thing has remained the same is that we eat to live and if we go a decent amount of time without eating, our bodies send a signal to our brains and we begin to think that we are starving and immediately go into our natural survival instinct. This means that when our metabolism starts lowering and we eat, our bodies tend to try and conserve the energy then burn it in the various activities that we perform the entire day.

So as far as energy levels and maintaining a healthy lifestyle is concerned, eating breakfast is literally breaking the fast that you go through while sleeping and helping you jump start your metabolism and helps in maintaining a good level blood sugar.

Here, today I have with me is an amazing deal of healthy, tasty, easy to make and fast to prepare breakfast, i.e., Gluten Free Banana Oatmeal which is high in protein, gluten free and mouth watering. This recipe, I myself found on the internet and till date, I am so crazy about Gluten Free Banana Oatmeal that I couldn’t stop myself from sharing my little secret with you guys. I hope you like it too!

Ingredients

1/2 Cup Coconut Milk,

2 Baby Bananas,
1 Tsp Cinnamon,
1/4 Tsp Nutmeg,
Optional: Almond Butter, Walnuts, Berries, Coconut Flakes and 1/2 C – 3/4 C Egg Whites.

Directions

Mix all ingredients in a blender until fully combined. Spray a small saucepan with non stick cooking spray. Make sure you don’t skip this step or you are going to have a fun time scraping out the pan afterwards. Next, on medium heat, add the blended ingredients to the saucepan. Stir consistently (3-5 minutes), the mixture will begin to thicken up to an oatmeal consistency. Remove from heat and pour into a bowl, add toppings and some additional cinnamon and enjoy your healthy yet tasty bowl of breakfast!

       The Mirage of Life
                                                              -Chaitanya
Lost, tired , wired i am
Dragging my foot to walk around
My foot is sulking into the ground
By the sand dunes i am bound
Victorious i am,
Because i am self crowned
Despite, i still keep walking
Because , i still haven't got respite
Searching for it day and night
Searching for water all around,
Not a single drop to be found.
Suddenly i see what i was longing for,
I pound upon it,
only to find sand in my mouth.
Oops! I think i got it wrong ,
Its just a mile along the path
i now run as fast as i can
"it's nearing " i tell my mind
As i near it it moves farther
It's a mirage, my destination
my destination is a mirage
The closer i get the farther it moves,
leaving me high n dry
and also does it help me try
makes me cry
Mirage of life it's all about
Keeps you moving all around...

Swajal- A step towards making clean drinking water accessible to all.

Swajal- A step towards making clean drinking water accessible to all.

Water is one of the most basic necessities of life. Clean drinking water is not only a person’s need, but his basic right. Unfortunately, not everyone can afford it. Every Indian is well aware of the issue of water scarcity in our country. We manage to fulfill our need of drinking water by buying bottled water or installing water purifiers, but that is not the case with everyone. A huge unprivileged part of our country suffers seriously from the lack of clean drinking water.

Every minute 4 people die because of the inaccessibility of clean drinking water. 5000 people die everyday because of dirty drinking water. 1600 people die everyday due to diarrhea alone. 21% of all the communicable diseases are water related. 69% people don’t have access to improved sanitation. These indeed are very depressing facts and the situation needs to be changed sooner rather than later.

Several start-ups are beginning to tackle problems relating to water. One such start-up is ‘Swajal’, initiated by Saurya EnerTech. The word ‘Swajal’ in Sanskrit means ‘Clean Water’. Swajal is a purifier which uses solar energy to purify water at a reasonable rate. It aims to make clean drinking water accessible to everyone. Swajal’s objective is to provide the rural areas with sustainable health and hygiene benefits and improved water supply systems supplying clean water.

Five out of the 900 villages in the area that comprises Delhi and NCR have been picked to test this solar water purifier. Swajal has also installed two 5000 litres per day purifiers in Chandankhera and Karinabaugh villages where the fluoride content in water is very high. A fixed amount of clean water is auto-dispensed to each consumer via a smartcard issued by non-profit organization which commissioned the solar purifiers. The purifier also has the feature of dispensing both hot and cold water.

The company has decided to supply the water at 30 paise per litre when the capital expenses are paid for. Even when the capital expenses are self sponsored, Swajal dispenses the purified ground water at Rs 1 per litre. They plan on beginning to help the schools and hospitals in rural areas. "Water is the most basic resource that all of us share. We want it to be free for everyone," says Vibha Tripathi, one of the co-founders of Saurya EnerTech.

Swajal surely has the potential to change the current scenario of water scarcity. It is a vital step towards the development of rural sections of India, and ultimately the development of the country itself.

PUNISHMENT OR MURDER

Punishment or Murder

A terrifying tragedy unfolds in Virar’s Vagad Gurukul International School as three students of class 9  Prahul Patel, Kushal Dhada and Meet Chadwa, who went missing on the night of August 25, were found dead and floating in a stream behind the school campus in what could be a shocking, mysterious and unbelievable case of triple suicide. The boys according to their friends were brutally beaten up by a teacher with a leather belt and shoes after scoring fewer marks. The three had a plan to escape the brutal, stentorian, monastic atmosphere of the hostel which was made much earlier. Getting beaten up with a leather belt seems to have been the last straw for the young kids. The heartbroken parents of the three 14-year old students allege they would have been murdered and the bodies were dumped in the stream which is too shallow for the three boys to drown together. It is not known if the students planned to commit suicide nor were any other students aware of this. The police have arrested two teachers-Ripusdan Garg, a Sanskrit teacher and Sandeep, a PT teacher.

Was it right on the teachers’ part to severely punish the students?

As per the law of Maharashtra State Commission for Protection of Child Rights, corporal punishment is banned across the country.

Why are schools failing to implement the law?

Disciplining a child is not about beating and insulting, but it can be instilled through exercises and better understanding of the reasons as to why the child behaves unruly. Unruly kids needs care, and love.
Teachers and parents don’t realize that such children may suffer from ADHD or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. It is a psychiatric disorder in which one behaves restless and will not obey or cannot focus on studies. The symptoms of which begin between six to 12 years of age and persist till diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

Severely punishing a child is in itself a murder of his/her mental health and future. It does no good to students.
Implementing stricter laws and policies to curb corporal punishment is the need of the hour.

CHILLING PEOPLE ALL OVER THE WORLD

The Ice Bucket Challenge, sometimes called the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, is an activity involving dumping a bucket of ice water on one's head to promote awareness of the disease amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and encourage donations to research. The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation popularized the then called “Cold Water Challenge’’ in early 2014 to raise funds for the widely used Special Olympics as a fundraiser.
In this challenge a bucket full of ice is to be lifted and poured over the participant's head. Then the participant can call out a challenge to other people.
On 20th May, 2014 they posted a video on YouTube but were later punished for using fire department equipment without permission. By 30th June, the video received media attention in the United States and televised the live performance of the on-air Ice Bucket Challenge.
The social media is also playing an immense role in spreading the message. It has not only gained attention from international celebrities like LeBron James and Ethel Kennedy but also from former US president George W. Bush and Bill Clinton.
Bollywood is quickly catching up with this viral activity of dumping a bucket full of ice cold water. Film stars like Sonakshi Sinha, Sunny Leone, Ritesh Deshmukh, Siddharth Malhotra and many more have enthusiastically taken the challenge.

PM’s Quest for Development Rages Fire Amongst Developers

After a massive win in the 2014 elections, people have high hopes with our new Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Modi has been successful enough in becoming that leader on which the masses can actually trust and be sure that he won’t repeat what has been happening in the country from the past 10 years. People had been frustrated with the scenario of the nation where a nation which was once known as, ‘’Sone ki chidiya’’  was now known as ‘’Scam India’’ where corruption was very usual. After bearing this for almost a decade, Modi came as fresh wave of hope to the people. He emerged as that one leader who spoke about the development of all, and not about the religion of all. And this has been the reason people used their power of Vote and made Modi, our new PM. With power comes responsibility and Modi is one those few leaders who is able enough to understand this. People have their hopes held high and it’s time for the PM to act. For this, Modi Government has it’s 11 Point Agenda. The 11  point agenda is:
1.Agriculture & Food
2. Transport
3. Jobs
4. Energy
5. External Affairs
6. Infrastructure
7. Tourism
8. Defence
9. Minorities & Women
10. Internal Security
11. Centre State Relations

From Modi’s 11 point agenda clearly states that PM has his way clear, and his goal clearer- DEVELOPMENT.
But our New PM has faced a lot of criticism, and that too this time the criticism is not from the people of the nation but the developers themselves …Politicians, Leaders, Socialists, Central State Govt. Employees.. these people are considered as developers or the ‘’Service men’’ of the nation. The unhappiest of all by the Modi Govt. are the central Govt. employees because with the new Government, new leadership has emerged with new discipline. Modi Govt. has a biometric attendance for all the Govt. Employees so that they reach office at time and do their work, other thing which is a cause of worry to these ‘’Service-men’’ is that now their relatives won’t be able to come as their assistants or so, in order to prevent corruption.
But the Modi Government seems to be least affected as they have their agenda clear. Time will show how the Government achieves it’s goals.
Till that time, I will conclude by saying what our PM has always said, ‘’Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’’.
