Haiku: A challenge to express myriad feelings in a moment!

HAIKU

 Haiku Poems have five essential components-

•             Events happen in a particular season.

•             Maximum 7 lines

•             Two contrasting statements

•             Objectivity and theme.

•             Talks about nature.

I may have gone wrong in its interpretation because the internet gives a bewildering description of it. Yet that is what I have inferred after reading some examples. I have also praised its essence and design because conveying such enormous feelings in a handful of lines is definitely not a fools’ errand! The excavated history of Haiku justifies it to be an art of enunciating countless conviction in a handful of line! 

Try and excerpt out all the 7 given component of Haiku from each one! 

1)      DESTINY

an impish housefly,

 wanders the world,

now trapped and tricked,

not a word.

2)      PRAYER

Up forthwith from bed,

Rudy cheeks move for words,

all muted, no tune,

be it happy or absurd.

3)      ODDITY

One moth one day,

Escapes the dark ways,

to contrast, moonlight and sunlight,

butterfly and itself. 

4)      LAST WISH

The leaf green glowed,

enunciated a wish,

To live green,

even on black bricks.

5)      DECEPTION

A fly tried taste the nectar,

of sweet smelling petals,

it sat, instantly entrapped,

into the giants web.
